serious? what state requires them? mines not legal cause i dont have my fenders on and its not tagged. thats about it.
Want a kick in the head? In Indiana you are required to have windshield wipers. You are NOT required to have a windshield! If you do have a windshield it has to be free from imperfections. I think every state has "interesting laws". I would venture to guess wipers are probably required in every state.
We don't have any inspection in IN. If I ever get pulled over it will be up to the officer as to writing a ticket or not. No big deal I'll just pay it just like seat belt tickets.
They don't have to be. Some choose to be. I have run into many around here that are more into the truck than any thought of writing a ticket against it. I've got one here that wants me to help him with a CV suspension swap into a Slick 60's. He is also very interested in the TBird IRS.
ya im not saying all are bad but the ones here in edmond oklahoma pull you over for the smallest of things and write you tickets but for bigger things they let you off with a warning. i think it should be the other way around.

Edmond needs to be careful. They are about to become the new Nicoma Park. Until the mid-90's, pickups, vans, suv's were not allowed to park in town, even in your own garage!
ya some neighbore hoods are like that. thats why i have to keep my 68 in arcadia. its not allowed in my neighborehood cause it have visible rust and isnt tagged but my next door neighbore can keep his truck at his house even though it looks like its been in a wreck from every angle and is the biggest eye sore.
