need carb help

i got this 70 f100 with a 302 and the guy had just put on a re-manufactured 2V carb....like was finishing putting it on when i showed up. idles fine, but i can feel the transition after the rpms raise and it stumbles and bucks a little, lol. i dont know anything about these old fords, but i'm guessing there is a low rpm jet and high rpm jet? If thats right am I actually feeling the transition to the high rpm jet and maybe the float just needs adjusted? i'm looking all over online trying to find some schematics, also want to check and double check the vacuum hose placement too. engine seems solid, compression is good, timing is spot on after i removed the vacuum advance hoses, pretty sure its all carb adjusting now. any tips, or other informational assets i can find online? If that stumble is right off idle, I would suspect accelerator pump either bad or adjusted wrong. Look down throat of carb with engine off and move accelerator, you should see a shot of fuel instantly. This is what makes the transition smooth. I agree with the adjusting. Even new carbs need tuned to the engine unless you get very lucky. A lot of vacuum diagrams can be found on the AutoZone website.
