IMO you'd be better off with the T4 mounted turbo and selling the D66. This gets you tons of options. Tons of turbine housing combinations you can use, tons of compressor side options, center sections, etc.

People are making close to 600hp with S366s and S466s, but yet the D66 and GTP38R are running out of gusto in most cases around 460-480hp, unless an external wastegate is used. Why might that be? All those turbos have 66mm inducers on the compressor wheels, so why does the stock replacement 66mm turbos run out of muscle so quickly...

The S366 wouldn't take crap to spool with stage 2 or larger injectors. It will take a fuzz longer b/c the turbine section will have a larger wheel in it to make it capable of flowing enough exhaust for your power goals, unlike your D66.... It will not take much longer though if the turbo is spec'd correctly for your setup. Sounds to me like he made it sound like the S366 would take forever to spool in comparison to the D66 and that is not true.

I should say, I've never run a D66 and have nothing against Beans or the turbo. It is simply my opinion that a STOCK turbine wheel and housing has no place in high performance endeavors. They will work for getting mid 400's, but backpressure will get out of hand and you can get more from the T4 mount and turbo options.
i undersatnd totally,and i told him iwanna come down in jan and have live tunes done, my up pipes are wasted, so with the t4 mount, it fixs than and the t4 and every thing to mout my s366 is cheaper than up pipes, i have not ruled out the s366, by far, i hope to have it, make a dyno run on it, than a dyno run on the s366, i like what i have seen of the t4 mount and what you have said, one week could have a s366, next a 471, there is a lot more you can do with the 366, and t4 mount i have seen that, so is the batmowheel worth it??

S366 would be my choice. Durability in the long run is what I'd be looking at. If I wanna stomp it I don't wanna worry about boom from a charger shaft. I'll deal with a little lag to make a little more power.

Just the turbo. Like I said I'm in no rush I gotta finish up my injectors and see what's left in the funds. What's a banks wheeland was ur worth it

o i agree, i found a sweet deal on the s366, so got the turbo, from ebay, and t4 mount irate has a good deal on it and every thing you need to hoock it all up

well got front of the moter off, found rad suport was broken in half, so got a plan to beef it up, better than it was, got the fuel bowle off as well as the hpop, so ill be ready for my t5oo,eltricfuel will go on to feed my new, rosewoods, , now to take off and rebuild oil cooler, and try and get block cleaned up!! that cooler lecking made a mess of things oil, coolent every where!! its comeing along though

water pump was out, and baring was out on power stering pump i found out, and dude there was oil all over so was the best way to get in and clean it all up,makes getting to oil cooler easy lol

The banks wheel is just a wicked wheel marked up. Basically stock replacement for us as far as I can tell from there site.

its just and up graded wheel, was on the truck when i got it, just a stock turbo with a wheel didnt no if yours was out,as of now going down to beans in jan dyno d66 with all my new goddies, than going to put on the t4 mount and s366 or s400, got my eye on two diff ones , and witch ever one makes the most hp or runs the best will have live tuned and be done for a while lol, cant wat to see jonathans from beans truck it almost same set uo with 238, and a d66 putting 525 hp down!!
