Outta run good. I'm happy at the moment with my ad's but I know the power difference from the aa's to these was big. I can't imagine going to 250's and a charger. Not to throw you off any but it may be worth going to a 238/100 hybrid to cut on oil usage. And the fuel is there if you wanna use it.

Jason, that's some combo your throwing at it all at once. It should be a awsome machine after your done. The only thing I wondering about is that it would be interesting to see what each mod does if added one at a time. I can certainly understand you doing them all at once, good luck.

yeah i was going to do them one at at time, but the water pump is out so seamd\ed like a good tome to do ic and hpop, and while the hpop is out might as well do the eletric fule, and if you do that gotta have them no injecters in with push rods and springs and gp, so see i didnt no where to stop so i said the hell with it and do it all with in a few weeks, the only thing i may wait on is new turbo, not sure but may take the s366 and have a batmowheel added, ill have pick with it all goiung back, got the front striped tonight and raid out

That setup sounds SWEET! but I agree with Glenn Im partial to see how the power gains over time... but I guess I like that since I am stuck that way... due to money. Stupid college.

I have talked with Bill Devine @ Bullseye Turbo quite a bit about the Batmowheel.. Long story short, he will not you a Batmowheel unless you buy the whole turbo from him. I wanted to upgrade my S400 to a Batmowheel and he won't do it, but he will sell a standard billet compressor wheel to me.

To get that kind of power out of a D66, you will need an external wastegate to relieve excess exhaust pressure. If not the backpressure on the turbine side is going to go insane. I don't care how amazing anyone says the D66 is, it still has the STOCK... Read... STOCK turbine wheel and housing. The STOCK wheel and housing cannot flow near the exhaust volume that a properly setup S366 would.

If I really wanted to, I could leave my STOCK turbo on my truck, put wastegates on it and spray it with enough nitrous to make 550-600hp with hybrids... A couple people are doing that with D66's. It's your decision.

IMO you'd be better off with the T4 mounted turbo and selling the D66. This gets you tons of options. Tons of turbine housing combinations you can use, tons of compressor side options, center sections, etc.

People are making close to 600hp with S366s and S466s, but yet the D66 and GTP38R are running out of gusto in most cases around 460-480hp, unless an external wastegate is used. Why might that be? All those turbos have 66mm inducers on the compressor wheels, so why does the stock replacement 66mm turbos run out of muscle so quickly...

The S366 wouldn't take crap to spool with stage 2 or larger injectors. It will take a fuzz longer b/c the turbine section will have a larger wheel in it to make it capable of flowing enough exhaust for your power goals, unlike your D66.... It will not take much longer though if the turbo is spec'd correctly for your setup. Sounds to me like he made it sound like the S366 would take forever to spool in comparison to the D66 and that is not true.

I should say, I've never run a D66 and have nothing against Beans or the turbo. It is simply my opinion that a STOCK turbine wheel and housing has no place in high performance endeavors. They will work for getting mid 400's, but backpressure will get out of hand and you can get more from the T4 mount and turbo options.
