Power up options.

OK I know this horse has been kicked a thousand times but I have nothing to bitch about so I will ask questions

What mod will bump up the power and TQ to the 400 range? I'm looking for details like turbo brand model with sticks size etc.

I know I need Head studs, e fuel and built trans.

I have the exhaust, intake, intercooler, water injection. I just want more power to do more if I ever need it.

I would have said something but all my experience is through other guys on the site so it would only have been second hand.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...lly-build.html

This guy had more or less the same questions.

How much $ you want to let loose of? It can get pricey.

Gauges
Efuel
6637
Good exhaust
Good hpop
Stixs (160-0)
Proper tuning
That's the cheap route

If you have 2500$ step up to a t4 s366

Or do 180-80s and a s369
Then u need headstuds,valve springs,pushrods
At that point you had better know your truck. Not many a shop will have much to do with you. They can be temperamental and may not be for everyone.

Then you will get to spend 4-5000$ on a good trans...

I can make 30psi with stage1 rosewood, efuel, stock turbo, and stock HPOP.

How long would the turbo last at that pressure sustained? No telling. I can peak at about 32-34psi @wot in 2nd consistently.

The easiest way is to read signatures. A lot of info there!

What these guys said. But especially what Jarrett said. I was making the same boost with Stage 1s, T500, and a stock turbo. Efuel and intercooled though FWIW

Awesome save me money! I did go through the Sigs but its nice to have more of a conv on it. So I can just keep my turbo and go up on sticks and fuel stuff. do I need the ARP and Springs? 99% of the trucks life will be 45mph or under empty. 1% pulling the toy hauler 35 miles to the dunes.

Nah no need to do all that with mild stix and no turbo upgrades. You'll be surprised how much it wakes the truck up.

From what I have read, you really only need to upgrade springs and studs if you're going to be pushing 40psi or more... Or you just want to get the heavier duty for peace of mind.

Well that sounds good. so I just need to get a new trans or will the stock one handle the new power? I understand the life could be cut short with hard use..
