tc switch

just did the tc switch mod and works great, my truck use to jump from 1500 to 2000 rpm's at hwy speeds not anymore.

Great, I really like mine. I don't understand why yours was jumping 500 rpm's though.

the rpms would jump when the tc would lock and unlock on me at 55-60 mph. Im not sure why it does it but replaced cps and vss and no change. Glad it worked the problem was getting old. Thanks FTE

Don't want to be a Debbie downer, but it sounds like you have other issues in there

I'm afraid he's right, trans has 'other' issues. I would caution driving around with the TC switch in the locked position all the time. I left mine locked once at 70mph and after several miles the RPM's jumped way up. Just the opposite of what you would expect. I have no idea of why it did that.
