can any one shed some light on this product, its a lock up switch, but im wondering if any one has used it, and or could you potentily hurt your T/C.
also, what do they mean by momentary switch? http://www.puredieselpower.com/catal...-kit-p-85.html
It's essentially a prepackaged version of the TC mod done by folks on this site. Should work fine, but I have no experience with it.
A momentary switch is usually a pushbutton or a wide open throttle switch...Things of that nature. Power is only applied when you are holding the switch closed.
on the TC switch, the normal lock position is when you push down on the switch, it stays in that position and keeps the TC locked, no matter what. the momentary position is the upward direction. if you push up on this, it will lock the TC "momentarily" and then return back to center position. i have not seen a use for the the momentary part of the switch in almost 8 months.
