The Pulleys may be fun, but I am sure the 302 is not as bad as the FE's, I did my water pump, and Single Wire Alternator along with the pulleys at the same time, in hopes of everything being compatible, I am glad that I did, it was a bit of a pain to find all of the right parts for the FE. Dropping the weight down a bunch didn't hurt either, Al of the old pulleys were cast and machined, and very heavy, Installing a lighter pulley set (Aluminum) and a New Damper, definitely improved performance, and made it run just a tick smoother. The old Dampers was not bad >>> YET but it was the two piece with the rubber in between, and I figured it was just a matter of time.
