Not unless you use the drain plug location...not a good idea. You can get a local weld shop to put a bung in for a few bucks.... or you can get the slide in style of sensor!

Yeah I have the slide in style sensor. I put a touch of silicone RTV on it after I got it in place, just enough to keep it from moving. I had a sensor slide out previously then it didn't trigger the fan, learned that lesson.

So i went and did some more measurements today, if i go with the radiator you went with there wont be room for me to mount my fan so im having to go with this radiator:

JEGS Performance Products 52017 JEGS Universal Aluminum Radiators

it will fit in the same space my radiator is in right now so it will give me room to mount my fan. The core is slightly smaller tho. Will it cool the engine enough?

Just the swap to Aluminum will make a nice difference... it is also Cross Flow instead of Down flow, so the coolant is in the radiator a bit longer... aka better transfer rate! It should be just fine!

Wise choice young man! that is pretty much what I did. I also changed out the pulley set and harmonic balancer at the same time..i switched to a polished aluminum set to lighten things up, and clean up the engine bay a bit!

Just ordered the radiator from Jegs, i decided to wait on the water pump for now. When i did the number crunching it came down to either a new trans cooler or the water pump, i opted for the cooler because its probably only alittle newer than the radiator so it was time for it to go whereas my current water pump is only about two years old. The water pump will get done soon tho!
