emblem mounting

Hey, I was just wondering how far apart the mounting pegs are on the back of the fender emblems? I am planning on putting 77-79 f150 custom emblems on my 95 and would like to know if the pegs are the same distance to reuse the old holes.

So if anybody has a set laying around and could measure that would be awesome

I would think they`re different.

You could just cut off the prongs on the back of the emblems and stick them on with double sided 3m tape.

Yea they probably are different, but a guy can dream, right? Lol

I'm thinking this truck will have badges from a shat ton of generations. Its a flareside, and I'm planning on taking one of the flareside emblems and putting it on the tailgate, the 77-79 f150 custom ones on the fenders with the small 4x4 badges from an 80-86 below, all with the insets painted to match body color (blue flame metallic) instead of black.

Should look sexy
