Well it seems now a days everybody wants to put newer badges on their trucks, but I want to go the other way... has anybody here put 73-79 badges on a 92-96 pickup? I'm thinking ill put f150 custom emblems on the fenders and put one of the flareside ones on the tailgate. Any opinions? Pics? Suggestions?
I have not seen it done but like the idea. I had thought of painting my son's 92 like a 66 and use the 66 chrome and emblems. Would love to see someone do it.
Ill be coming into a good chunk of money soon, so the ol girl is getting a couple grand worth of body work and a flame blue paintjob, plus whatever other goodies like this I feel like
I will be putting emblems from a 1970 LTD on my '96 to go with the theme of my particular truck. Sorry, I don't have those here at the house otherwise I'd take a pic. Just thought you might use a little encouragement.
Sorry guys, I just don't like the idea of newer or older bashing on any vehicle. It looks out of place. I always wanted to get the Eddie Bauer F150 emblems that just say F150 and nothing else like XLT or XL etc.
