I have less than 1k miles so far in about 6 weeks. Mine was ordered so i have it right off the assembly line. I'm thinking of removing the F-150 emblem on the tailgaite. It looks like it would make for a cleaner look. I have also thought of the fender emblems, but not sure yet. They are put on with double sided foam adhesive. Anyone know the best way to remove them? Is there potential for paint damage?
I took the tailgate emblem off and there was 3 holes - 2 for the emblem and then 1 big hole for nothing. So since I had it off I acetoned it and put it back on. I am in the process of taking the BLUE peice out of the FORD emblems.

Blk, why are you taking the blue piece out? What will it do or look like? Cool look?
When the BLUE piece is removed it has the acetoned look to it - all chrome looking!
Thanks. Hopefully when you do it, you'll provide a pic with your other great pics? I'm debating on what to do with the emblem. BTW, you say you took it off, but how did you do it? Screwdriver and just wedge it off? I'm thinking of buying the Carbon Filter emblem overlays and putting the Metal Scapes Carbon Fiber across the entire tailgate. And I'm thinking of getting one of those grill inserts in the front, maybe billet style. Probably just take the emblem off the front yet leave the carbon fiber one on the back if I do this. Thanks for any advice.
Why don't you take it off, take it to a body shop, and have it filled in and smoothed over? I'm not crazy about the emblem in the center like it is, but I don't hate it enough to spend the money to get it changed. Just an idea.
