parking brake cable removal

Hey i have an 88 f250 and was wondering how to take the emergency brake cable off the emergency brake pedal. I cant seem to figure it out. Im sure someone on here has done it so if you have any ideas let me know.

I believe you ahve to unbolt the bracket/assembly from the cab and it shoulod be pretty straightfoward from there.

That little screw and the nut up inside the dash support at the front edge is a PITA.

If you have a cordless impact driver/drill it is a LOT easier than trying to do it by hand.
