Long story short, bought a 89 f-150 5.8 C6 with a blown freeze plug, pulled motor changed freeze plugs and all the gaskets. Didn't mark all the vacuum lines because I thought I was a whole lot smarter. I have searched the net and this site and can't find a picture that shows me all the lines.
I have a pic of the tree but can't figure how to insert it here, need some guidance. Or does anybody have a pic that shows where the lines go, I got 7 ports to hook up.
I have the VECI label but it only shows 3 of the ports, MAP sensor, EGR and the one to the can. I have 7 to hook up the MAP sensor isn't included on the tree from what I can tell. Loaded a picture of mine.
I have to hook up EGR, Brake booster, MAP, C6 Modulator Valve, Misc Vacuum to HVAC, FPR and 1 more I believe. I have different size ports and hoses.
What I can see so far is
1 HVAC
2 FPR
3 CAN
4
5
6 MAP
7 Brake Booster
Is the Tranny on ported or Manifold Vac, this was all jacked up when I got it so I'm just trying to get it back. Cleaning up after a jackleg mechanic.
Anybody?? I can connect all the lines, start truck and it idles much better when I remove one and create a vacuum leak, Never seen a vacuum leak make one run better?
