1951 F1 V8 Stock Rear End Gearing?

If I recall correctly, we had a pretty long discussion about this like a week ago after you asked a similar question. The various stock options were mentioned in that thread. So you should be able to find it again in there.
But as far as your particular truck goes, crawl under it and look for a metal tag attached to one of the bolts holding the rear cover on the differential. It's usually at about the "4 o-clock" position. Clean it up and read the numbers. It will have a larger number (the ring) over a smaller number (pinion). Divide the smaller number into the larger number and you'll have your answer. For instance, mine says 41/11 which equals a 3.73.
