600 hp torque converter problems?

Tranny took another crap the other day. Took it back to the guy that built it. I put it back to stock and it was just horrible. Wont shift when you try to halfass accelerate. 3rd to 5th is the worst goes back and forth between gears really fast. Only way it will shift right is to go really easy on it. OD holds. shifts are all just erratic.

Can this be a flow problem? Bad sensor somewhere? Clutches shot? I need to know what needs to be done for it to hold. I fd up shoulda went with twisted or nadp or bts or doug.

I have heard of people running 600hp with a stock tranny. I dont get it

Direct clutch I'm willing to bet is fried. The weakest link in the 6.0 TS tranny in my opinion.

Not with the TS behind the 6.0 in stock from. 6.4 TS maybe, 6.0 TS....nope.

The tranny is built though. I wish I knew more about transmissions. Is there just a badass diect clutch I can put in it? Are my clutches not close enough? It was live tuned by josh at rcd and drove awesome til I was almost home? Is there something this guy is not doing the other builders are that is crucial? He put 6 clutches in it and a bigger converter. Not sure what kind. I know your supposed to make the clutches really close tolerances. I just dont know enough about it.

Did he put in a billet input shaft? I would have done that as well. You do want them pretty tight together, you are right there.
