Torque converter????????

How do you know if a torque converter is good
I got a truck and the guy said the tranny was out
I just thought that the converter might be bad

I dont know what to check
any help would be great

Torque converter????????

If the tranny went bad, it shoved all the metal flake into the torque coverter. If the converter went bad, it through everything through the pump into the tranny. Either way, it's all gone.

Does anyone know what a good price for tranny rebuild and new converter I dont know how much to spend for a good rebuild
The tranny is a c6
Any info would be great
