56 Blown Panel Truck for $1.25

I was in Wal-Mart the other day killing time and I went to the toy section to see if they had any toy cars of interest. I found a Hot Wheels 56 panel truck(purple in color) for $1.07(I believe). I went ahead and bought it. The racks were full of vehicles, so I'm assuming it's from a new shipment. So, the next time you're in Walmart, wander away from the wife and fight some kid for that last panel truck!

Does it come with any Legos, or maybe some Lincoln Logs?

So, are there no other toy collectors out there?

Yup, when ever I get a chance to go to Wal Mart, I head on down to the the hot wheels section.

Nice score you got there.

Oh hotwheels, johnny lightning, muscle machines......need I say more? I gave it up when I bought my panel. I did not have enough room in my garage for both.....what does that tell you? I sold most of my collection and still have about 1000 of those cars left (for my grand kids). now I just look at them and walk on by.....one might drop in the cart once in a great while I must admit.

I have one just the same! 5 in total.

4 hotwheels (grey, blue, purple, copper)
1 matchbox (orange)

I always wander around at the supermarket for any new finds. A couple weeks back almost bought a gravedigger figure just because it looked very close to the ford but remembered it's a chevy and decided to stay loyal.

I found a Grave Digger set at Toys R Us not to long ago. There's 3 trucks in the set including the original 51 Ford pickup before Grave Digger went to the panel van. Which the original GD Panel van was a 51 Ford as well Dennis Anderson said he just loved the grill on the 51/52 Fords and it went well with the paint and name

Sweet!.
Count me in as a collector, I started collecting about 30 years ago and I`ve got 250-300 Fords, mostly in 1/18 scale and some in the smaller size. Ford trucks always were a little hard to find. I`m not buying very many as I`m getting limited for space now.

Oh, that's one of the first new things I get to learn today, and it's barely 8:00 AM. I guess I'll have to take another look, maybe it was meant to be a Ford panel after all.
