Is the trail system in Vt. going to be pretty messed up this year? I imagine they lost a lot of trails and bridges.

yes, but they pledged to have all the main corridors that run N to S and E to W open. not sure about all the little trails though. our trail my club maintains is pretty messed up
this is what ours looks like in places:

its a little deceiving in the picture but i was standing in the bottom of the ravine and my head was level with the dirt on the left, where the trail should be.

Hopefully there will be enough cold and snow this year. That should help the trails out.

Damn, it's snowing back home already?! I am currently enjoying the weather in hawaii! With coming out there for my friends funeral, I don't think that I'll be making it back home until thanksgiving/early december now. It'll probably be blizzards by then!
