Cold Idle issues
I have an '89 F-150 with a 300 4spd. when i start it cold it idles at where it should be when its warmed up (700 rpms) and then the rpms want to drop to about where it wants to cut off. if i keep my foot on the gas to keep it running until it warms up some (i do this for about maybe 20 seconds) then it will try to idle at 700, sometimes surge between 5-700 rpms. fuel pump, tank, filter, and IAC valve are all new. any thoughts? when the truck warms up completely it idles fine and right where it should
