Check Engine Code Light
88 f150 5.0 EFI
Code seems to read as follows
||||-|-|||||-|||-|||-|||||-|||-|||
| = Check Engine Blink
This is 41 53 35 33 or what?
This was done with Engine off. So KOEO.
With KOER (key on engine running) I'm seeing 4 blinks and an increase of engine idle RPM to 1800 when normaly 1000.

There should be a separator pulse in there between two groups of codes. Each group of codes will be flashed twice. See here: EEC IV Self Test hookup
The KOER test will blink 4 times for a V8, then do some tests of sensors/actuators, then possibly give a single flash which is your cue to give the throttle a quick stab, touch the brake pedal, turn the wheel 1/4 turn, and push the O/D cancel switch (if there is one). Then it will output any codes.
