The upfitters are powered with the key in the accessory position (first click).
This way the DEF pump isn't powered.
In the run position, the fuel pump turns off in 30 seconds but there is still something running under the cab so I've assumed it's the DEF pump.
Yes, leaving the keys in the truck is an added risk.
I carry my extra key on purpose so I can lock my doors with it running but I’m asking for trouble.
I imagine it doesn’t take much time to break the window and drive off.
I'm guessing Sgt93 deals with loosers weekly who are good at this type of thing.
