I kinda forgot that up here, we have summer and winter fuel. Next month the stations will using up all their summer stuff and switching over to winter fuel. That's why I've never had gelling probs. Antigel is already in the fuel. Don't know how far south they do that??? As for checking the GP's, you can unplug the harnesses and test the outer pins for resistance. Don't recall exactly how many ohms you want, but if there's infinite resistance, your plug is burnt.
Ya, I had one station tell me that their fuel was winterized and I was stranded in the middle of nowhere. When I got back I threatened them with false advertising.
Along with this winter theme.
Im think about putting a plow on my truck. How do our trucks do with plowing? Has anyone plowed with your trucks? What should i do to help make my rig the best a plowing?
I know ill need new tries soon. too many peel outs

Ya i figured you were just messing around just thought i throw that out there though. I didnt know that the sd had them.
The SD does not have a grid heater like a Cummins has. It has a little heating element in the intake spyder that does nothing productive at all so most guys delete it.

Bingo! It is the AIH, only works when the trans is in part, idling, air temp below absolute zero...etc...etc...pretty useless unless you are idling a ton.
