My truck has 91,000 miles and started last week with a tapping noise one the right side. Mechanic said could be cam phaser, lifters or crank case problem
Any one else experienced the same and what was the fix if any?
Had more of a knocking under the engine in my case. Had cam phasers replaced, 1200 bucks. 73500 miles. Engine now quiet. Find a good Ford shop, they will fix it.
Was that for both cam phasers? It would almost be cheaper to drive to ND from OK to get it done. Thanks for the quick response. My tick is getting louder as I type.
