I've got a 2011 Lariat with the most of the options, including the Nav system. Had it since Feb and don't have too many complaints.
But I do have a few questions about some of the electronics/user IF that I haven't been able to figure out.
How can I set up the truck so that either the heated/cooled seats come on when I hit the remote start?
Is there a voice command to have the media player (USB2 flash drive) display all songs by an artist or album? I just want to display them and then pick the song.
What's the easiest way to tell if you need to update the sync SW?
Thanks!

Reason: Cen't spel...
I believe you're out of luck on the seats for remote start. I think it will just go with your last settings for dash heat/air.
Not sure on the voice command for flash drive...I would guess it's a no go.
Also not sure on the Sync update.
Steve, when you leave the truck just leave the heating/cooling on "Auto". The seats cool when on "Auto" at 80 or above (I believe) and heat when the temp is at freezing or below.
No problem. I always leave my system on "Auto" and set it at around 73 degrees. There is also a seat air filter that needs to be replaced every 14k miles I believe.
There is a post around here somewhere that speaks to the different environmental conditions and what the remote start/supplemental heat will respond to. I'll see if I can find it.
As for the USB support; I don't think there is any for straight USB.
Sync updates can be found under SYNC | Say the Word | Ford.com. You will need to sign up and follow the instructions for updating. There is a version checker that will tell you if the unit will need to be updated by the dealer.
