Anyone do door hinge pins??

I haven't done an Aerostar, but have done others and I found a kit at Autozone in a package with the new inserts. You drive the pin out then remove the old inserts and put in new ones. The kit had extra pieces that were for other applications. They were brass or some other alloy. It seemed easier on my 73 Mustang by removing the door.

For various reasons, Aerostars just aren't as popular as most other cars, so its aftermarket is relatively small. But I believe hinge pins are pretty generic, so you can use parts made for other vehicles easily enough.
Having said that, I'll admit that I've never replaced hinge pins before, and I have a couple of old cars that really need them. I'm thinking of completely removing the doors so I can also do other work on them, like cutting out and patching rust spots. But I'm going to need a better welder for that.
