4 wheel drive not engaging
I have a 2008 F-350 with 65k miles, 4 Wheel drive worked about 6 months ago, but not when I needed it over the weekend I could not get the truck to go in 4 high or 4 low. I went through what the manual told me to do, by the book on engaging the 4 wheel drive. I worked and worked forward, reverse in and out back and forth still no results. The light comes on as if it is engaged, however it doesn't work. This is by the selector switch on the dash, this is how I have always used the 4 wheel drive briefly. Also, would something like this be covered under the powertrain warranty?

I would be covered under power train warrany but that is only to 60K unless you purchased more.
When you flip the switch does your heat or ac go to defrost only?
Also go out and manually turn the hubs and then hit the switch. Does the front end engage then.
BTW you should manually turn those hubs at least once a month for this very reason.
