I own a 1999 Ford F-350 Powerstroke, i have been having an issue that im not sure what to do about... My low/med/(med/high)/high switch was not working properly, it only gave me either a med/high or a high....however, the other dayi got in started up heading into work, and i am no longer getting any airflow what so ever.... Not sure weather it is a fuse, the blower, the switch.. I am kind of lost right now.. any suggestions would help
WELCOME TO FTE! If you would post in the text where you're located (since your location won't show up until you have 25 posts), maybe one of "The Brotherhood" could come and help you. Also, a bit about your truck (year, engine, trans, etc.).
I would suggest checking the fuses first, should be in the manual. It could also be the blower motor resistor...this is a quick replacement and costs $10-25 depending on which one you buy (see pics in link below). I'd try that first, it's literally two screws to pop it out. Sounds like it could be your problem.
As for replacing the blower, it is fairly simple to do, maybe an hour of work. Here is a good write-up that includes the resistor R&R:
