I'd like to add some options that came from the factory, but my vehicle wasn't ordered with.
I know, with past experience with Dodge vehicles, that some manufacturers pre-wire the entire vehicle for all options, since it's cheaper to do it that when building, and installing the components only as ordered. I also know that Ford started doing this at some point, because many trucks have the harness for a trailer brake controller, but the controllers aren't installed.
My question is this...Did Ford pre-wire the Explorer for options such as the position memory seats and the information center?
I'd like to add the missing components, if the vehicle is already wired for it. It would be easy to grab the parts form a junkyard for cheap.
