Squealing Noise. Only when i accelerate.

I did the job myself. The U joints cost about $12 a peice. I didn't use a press I had a ball joint C clamp I used and had no problem at all.

Same issue

I'm having the same issue. this noise is making want to drive the truck off of a bridge. I can hear a light squeak faintly sounds like from the back of the truck as its rolling along in an off-beat pattern then once you're on the accelerator driving you hear a constant squeal and when you let off it goes away. the noise sounds about the pitch of the turbo but louder and more annoying.

See if you have play in your driveshaft when it is parked and not running. I was able to turn mine, so I pulled the drive shaft and replaced the u joints. Fixed it right up. While i had the drive shaft out, I had it rebalanced as well.
