injector question runs rough
hey guys i have 96 f250 ps 144,000 miles. new fuel pump.
fuel pressure 55 at regulator. new ipr,icp ,glow plugs.
new oil and filter. no fuel or oil leaks. truck starts right up
but has a miss. new cam sensor as well. how do i check
injectors. what is easiest way to test. thanx for any help

With a miss at idle, you can remove the valve covers first, then start the truck and unplug the injectors one at a time. The injector that does not make the idle change is the one not firing.

a faster way of doing that is warm up the truck real good, then take off one valve cover at a time and look at each injector, theres a little deflector that oil will lightly squirt out of, if theres no oil then the injector is dead. but i dont know how bad your miss is, a dead injector or a not healthy injector. i personally just dont like unplugging an injector while its running, sketchys me out lol

An injector can still spit oil but not fuel, so that's not a real good way to test it.
There's nothing wrong at all with unplugging the actual injector...
