I didnt like it sitting down like that so i then had this done:
<table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/0oJ-NPfav9o3BZtjHot5ZIYKLK_-AALJyQY9DXxlPlU?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-6kLJ-vtoQWs/Tc9w-H6P-AI/AAAAAAAAARE/jHK8_UdZvuQ/s640/DSCN4325.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/103121090173279404612/May122011?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCOSV8L26rd_Q3wE &feat=embedwebsite">May 12, 2011</a></td></tr></table>
<table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/KbmQRuSE4rHEKaEfz2VpEIYKLK_-AALJyQY9DXxlPlU?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-r0AZMAebYrA/Tc9w-k0ePyI/AAAAAAAAARI/HRFJHy3noTw/s640/DSCN4327.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/103121090173279404612/May122011?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCOSV8L26rd_Q3wE &feat=embedwebsite">May 12, 2011</a></td></tr></table>

i also then painted it so it wont rust after it was welded on.

Nice work. I wonder if someone can tell us why Ford didn't do this?

Got the pan and drain plug off eBay if I remember right. The pan is an extra thick one so the flange does not bend and leak. The drain plug is just a generic one that would work with any thing really. You just drill a hole and there is a nut and bolt with a hole in it that a smaller bolt goes I to to keep the fluid in. I didnt want it o get knocked off so that is why I had a buddy weld it and the pipe over it. Works great

I did something similar on my last one- I just drilled a hole and welded a 1/2" fine thread nut on the inside in the side of the pan. Got an oil drain plug and gasket, never had an issue.
