Code 0299 again and again

Code 0299 again and again
Hi I have a repeating 0299 code. I clear it with scangauge and it always come back. A few days ago, it went off after I wiggled some wires, was it a fluke, do not know but now it won't go off, even after many Wiggles.
The Cel comes and stays on as soon as I start the engine. When I shutt off the engine, if i do not clear the codes while the engine is running, there is no code stored but the CEl light comes on on start up.
Everything runs normal.

Any suggestions, I am taking the dam truck to Alaska next years and those codes make me go crazy.
I had two Wrench lite, limp mode, a week ago, but was ok after restart.
