If there is a CEL triggered there will be code stored in CM. FYI....there are two parts to checking codes with the engine off. The first part are the Key On Engine Off tests, the second is stored code (aka Continuous Memory) display. You stated " only code stored is 111 " so is that the result of the KOEO tests or is that really from CM? If the latter, what were the result of the KOEO tests?

The only ways to have a CEL lit and no stored codes are a lack of KAM power or the computer is bad.

Vehicle speed sensor? Don't know if/how that would code but it's all I can think of that the truck wouldn't know about until it was moving.

That's what I keep thinking, but it runs great Everything seems to be working. Am I right to think All the engine light monitors is the emission controls?

1995 CEL could be for almost anything from a loose/bad gas cap, to a problem with the transmission
if it is computer controlled, it will throw a CEL if there is a problem.
.it can have a CEL and seem to run fine, it may be a non essential item that is causing the problem code.
