With some recent medical bills and having toasted the transmission behind it, I need to sell this engine. I had it up for $1200, I have dropped the price to the minimum I need, $600. This is complete 2wd pan to carb, and will also include my other FE stuff (4x4 pan and pickup, spare timing covers, and a pair of Holley aluminum valve covers I forgot I had, vertical and horizontal oil filter mounts).
Engine and clutch currently have 8800 miles on them.
Engine specs:
Mirror "105" block, standard bore, main bearing oil passages aligned and primary oil galley opened and smoothed.
Torque grind cam, cam timing advanced 4* from stock (2* from zero) with new double roller chain
New Federal Mogul pistons and Sealed Power rings
S code 4BBL intake, with Holley 4160 4BBL, 600cfm
D2TE heads, 1/16" oil restrictors
Stock D2TE manifolds
The engine does still have the points distributor, I have a distributor, harness and module to convert to electronic that will go with it.
Engine runs great without any odd noises or any oil smoke. Mileage isn't great, but if I built an engine for economy I wouldn't start with an FE.
It currently has a toasted 2wd T18 behind it, I didn't realize the PTO cover was leaking and I ran it out of oil. It still works, but is making some less than happy noises. You can have it if you want, otherwise it's going on the scrap pile.
I can crate for my cost (about $50) and ship from my work, or drop off at a terminal. Any shipping must be arranged by the buyer.
If you want to pick it up I can load/help load it. Delivery within about 200 miles can be arranged, but my schedule is a bit odd this next few weeks.

Ok, I have one project wrapping up this weekend, so then this truck is coming over for it's swap. Selling this engine is much preferred over paying to store it.
The transmission is making some nasty noises, but I will try to get a video of it running in the next week or so.
