70's ford front 6" lift leaf springs

Category: Steering & Suspension
Price: $200
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): Prelude
Item Condition: WV
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped
Engine: Part suitable for gas truck

I have a set of 6" lift leaf springs for the front axle of a 73-79 ford F250 or F350. I was told they are superlift brand but they are not marked. They have been used but not by me. They are 3" wide. I need money because I lost my job and I need to get $200 out of these. They weigh 80 lbs per leaf, and I have been told that fedex will ship them individually. UPS and USPS will not, as they have 70 lb limits.

Springs are near morgantown WV and I can bring them to near martinsburg WV for no extra. I can deliver them anywhere within a few hours or meet you if you pay my fuel costs. I have pictures and can email them to you. My email is achunt2 at gmail dot com
I can also text them to you, just send your phone # to my email.

Would these only be a 2" lift on a highboy? And 6" for everthing else.

they are for a 78/79, and they are 6" for that application.

I don't have a highboy so I can't tell you how much it would lift it. Highboys usually sit about the same as the later trucks so I'd see no reason it wouldn't be similar lift, but there are always people on here claiming their highboy is 4" taller than a later truck... just wishful thinking, is my opinion. If the highboy is indeed taller, if the difference is due to spring mounts on the frame or the axle, then these would still give you the same lift. If its due to the arch of the spring, then it wouldn't. But any highboy running around with stock springs has likely sagged 3 or 4" by now anyway.

Yeah I actually hadn't done a lot of looking into the 77.5/79 stock ride height, I know they are shorter, just the usual answer for how much I guess. Did some reasearch. Seems it's only about 2" difference. I know the front shackles are a 1/2" longer on the 77.5/79s than the highboys so that would mean these springs would be a 3 1/2" lift for the 67-77.5s. Good deal for someone. Not quite tall enough for me.

they are probably the tallest you will find. No one even offers these 6" springs anymore, unless you get custom ones made.
