Update just in case anybody else was having the same problem or was just curious:
number 5 fuel injector stuck open, number 1 fuel injector low pressure; this also lead to fuel in the oil. Only a $100 fix... gotta love extended warranties Thanks all for the help and advice.
I just picked my 2003 6.0 up from the shop yesterday after having the EGR delete done....I didn't even make it home before the knocking started, I immediately called them and they had me call the tow company again and have it towed back to them. Do you think I am having the same problem?
