There's the Problem
There's the Problem
So Many of you are probably aware that I have a fubarred C6. It instantly over heats, it is impossible to keep cool and the tranny seems to have no line pressure. But alas! I think I may found the reason why and I will provide a picture below.

Poor Stator Support. I have put dozens of transmissions in, so I know I did not install the torque converter so that only begs this question: WHY WOULD THAT BREAK?
As a side note, I think it speaks highly of the c6 that it did operate (even if it was poorly) like this..

Thats a pretty cool break.
I know you said it instantly overheated and etc but are you also implying the truck was able to move under its own power like this? -if so, kick ***. I wouldnt expect that to happen again. I guess the jagged edges caught every now and then?
Going back with a stock replacement or something a little stronger?

I actually don't know of any way stronger to set up the truck other than a manual tranny, but i have decided to build a completely unrelated transmission and cross my fingers.
For a temperature reference *normal operating temp was around 240. When I called on it it would rocket up to 300+.
