We now need to know what state this engine is in. If someone has converted it over, you are not going to need a tps. Does the distributor have a vacuum line going to it? Are there lots of other things disconnected?
I'm inexperienced with Ford Trucks, but everything looks complete except the empty space and plug where the TPS goes. This truck sat in a farmers field for 10 years. My 16 yr old son and I got it running and then went through the entire truck as a little project that turned into a big project. I've attached links to the carb and distributer pics.
I changed your first post to show the pix inline so people don't need to go to another site to take a look.
BTW to do this, find the link to the IMAGE you want people to see, copy that link into your buffer, back on FTE click the Insert Image button (sun behind a mountain or some such) and paste that URL into the box.
EDIT: I just looked at your other pictures - yes, big project.
I am not too familiar with what the correct carb for your truck should look like and where the throttle position sensor should be. There is the possibility someone put the wrong carb on there. You do have the correct computer controlled distributor on it. I guess you know this engine is almost like a fuel injected engine as far as engine control, with a computer, but it still has a carb.

In this pic, you see that little curly thing? That is where your TPS should be. I can definitely tell you that someone has changed the carb out to an older carb. Theres no electronics on the carb, not TPS. I would dare think that someone thought they was doing a duraspark swap, and failed.
