Are you sure the dealer replaced the oil cooler when they did eye cooler? If tey did the. They have to honor the 12/12

ok now there sayin they will cover up to 1700 and some change. they will not cover the #7 glow plug, the degas bottle and degas cap what ever that stuff is. Suppose to call back later with total.

Now there sayin my radiator is compromised??? and they claim they have to run water threw it cause they would have to use 20 gallons of simple green and thst to expensive??? someone please advise..i think there screwin me.

The entire cooling system will need lots of flushing. All the oil will have to be removed from the block heater core radiator etc. That will take some kind of detergent. 20 gal of simple green sounds like an exaggeration to me though. One of the Techs here will know if radiator replacement is SOP for a blown oil cooler repair, but seem to me it would be possible to clean it up and re-use it. They may be getting "burnt out" on working your truck and just want to get it out of their shop.

LMMFAO--20 gallons of simple green is enough to do a fleet of trucks and radiator replacement is ridiculous. At most it should take MAYBE a gallon. Worst case scenario is that they take the radiator to a shop and have it hot tanked and resealed. They're selling you a BIG load of BS. I'm with Rusty......either they want your truck out of the shop of they're trying to make it SOUND bad to make you buy a new truck.

sorry to hear tat ffengine51. sounds like they're either trying to get rid of u or they're gonna try to squeeze more money outta u. stay strong and stick to ur guns. the 6.0 aint a lemon. it jus needs tender loving care which she aint been getting for a while now. parts fail. things happen. wives leave their husbands. it's life. wat u need is focus and there's a bunch of great guys for a 2nd or 3rd opinion.
