Looks like this thread needs some additions so I will add my .02.

This year for some reason I've forgotten (CRS??) we will be again doing a seasonal after doing it in 2009 at a small CG (Camping in Westport, New York Adirondack Camping at Its Finest) on the shore of Lake Champlain. Friendly folks, and about a three stone's throw form the water (nice bass). I don't have photos this year yet, but this is the site we were on in '09. It was a late selection for us so it was a bit smaller then we wanted but sufficient for our needs:

Then there is the CG on the St Lawrence, at Association Island. It's just gone KOA, but the sites haven't changed much if any: 1000 Islands / Association Island KOA | Camping in New York | KOA Campgrounds

We will be pulling out of our seasonal a couple times for some touring (Canada - Nova Scotia or New Brunswick) so hope to have some additional pictures later.

Clear Springs Campground on Wright Patman Lake near Texarkana, TX. This is a Corp of Engineers campground. Nice, Clean and lots of shade. Just spent the last week here visiting my Dad. Pleasant and the Rest Room are Air Conditioned! If you are passing thru on I 30, its about 15 minutes south on US 59. Highly Recommend.

That's because we can better handle the challenge of leveling our monsters in our more temperate climate You haven't lived until you have tried to level in a NY State Adirondack CG and the 'thrill' of lots of blocking. I still carry half a tree's worth, just because.......

When you are making camsite reservations and they ask what size your trailer is, what do you tell them?
Do they mean just the trailer or do they mean truck and trailer?
I just made a reservation in a National Park and the girl asked me what size my trailer was.
I asked if she meant truck and trailer and she said "no" just the trailer?
Is it diffrent in diffrent places?

LOL!!! I have that issue out west here. There was a spot up at Paulina CG in Central Oregon. I needed a stump I found to use as another step to get in and out of the trailer! Was nerve racking!

I pack a lot of blocks out here.

I have found they want trailer length mainly.

I always wonder, from bumper to hitch or floor plan length. LOL

Mine is a 26.5' trailer that measures 28' 11". LOL

I always wonder why the heck they set up camp grounds so a person has to blind side the dang trailer into the spot!

When most campgrounds were built. They were for small units.
When I purchased my campground, I opened up the site for bigger units.
Most of my sites can hold a 40ft unit.
Check me out.

So when you ask the size does it mean truck too or just the trailer?
