Don't be so pessimistic, with por-15 all over she should be locked tight for longer than that.

And as XLT said, most problems are due to not maintaining them properly and disregarding a flashing o/d light.

The biggest problem I have with the E4OD is there is so many little things that can and will cause the TCM to put the trans into limp mode! All of these little electrical things in these trucks are getting old and alot of them don't matter anyway, like the fuse that controls the dome light! Why should something like that cause my transmission to go into limp mode!?! Why does my TCM think my TPS is out of range when in fact it is within range, all three of them that I bought and installed were within range! Why does my TCM think that my TPS is now within range when clearly it is not, it is set at .75 now and the TCM loves it! This is why there is a ZF5 in my very near future!
