Ok, here is the story, I let a guy use my truck....... and he told me that the o/d light was blinking and the gear was jerking when he took off. Thats really all he told me. When I took it this morning, no more light blinking and it drove fine, and as I pulled into work, it started to blink. I never felt the truck jerk but thats was my buddy said it was doing. Any Ideas??....if this get expensive, I'm doing a zf5 swap.....(I know, the dark side).

Listen, I'm not going to pay anyone to take this off my hands, this is a great transmission and guys reading all these jokes might actually believe them, you guys aren't helping me out much.
I loved this tranny when I had it, I just need a ZF for the towing I do in many varying scenarios. The E4OD before didn't struggle with a little, I had that thing over the recommended weight most of the time(9k on flat with the bed loaded) and not being able to downshift to relieve the tranny really beat the first one up. Thats why it blew and thats why I didn't beat the crap out of this one. This is a awesome transmission that Ford rebuilt themselves so you know its quality.
