Is the size of the pic 120x120... I took the pic in your folder and shrunk it to that size try this one...

hey guys hows everybody . i havent been on here in a while been real busy. havent done anything to the ford lately. but have great news me and ronnie the original owner have started the paperwork . we had an affidavid < written out and notorized we faxed the papers to frankfort to the title dmv and there pulling the title to reactivate it and it should be here in the mail in a couple of weeks in his name of course and then were gonna have it signed over to me and THEN FINALLY it will be in my name then i can install my motor and trans. i have completely taken apart my 53 dodge 1/2 ton pickup it was orginal and 100% complete i have owned it for 10 yrs not sure which way to go with it but im in the process of putting it over on a 91 long bed s-10 frame yea i know some of you aren't gonna like this idea but it had a stuck flathead six ,trans was stuck and just not safe really plus i cant hardly find any parts for this thing they just aren't out there. looks like a bomb exploded under the carport but it will have a fresh 355 and turbo 400 its that rusty primer color with lots of patina and thats how im gonna drive it. gonna be cool, been cutting welding and you guys know the rest i think the dodge is the coolest of the three i have maybe not the most desired but there kinda rare and unique in there own way . no the wife's not to happy about the mess but she will like it when its done i think she kinda wants it for herself and thats what im talking about.i know this is a ford site and i have mentioned the c word and d word lol but hey i like old trucks mostly all of them what can i say .

not been on here in a while. i havent been able to get the original title reinstated . me and ronnie the original owner went to the court house three times trying to get the title back up and it had been junked for two many years to be back up. so i am working with the state to get a kentucky rebuilt vin # and title.its in the works . i have recently been resanding the flash rust off the cab and priming it black took the front clip back off going to remove the cab tommorrow to get to the top of it. might install my morot and trans if the weather isnt bad or too cold. i still have the truck to trade to something if anyone is interested i have kinda lost interest because of all the title issues. but atleast i dont have to worry about them trying to come back and get the truck they can cause the title was junked and i do have a bill of sale from ronnie so its all good .

heys guys and gals once again i have not been on here since december. been working on the 50 chevy and its around 85% ready for the road.havent messed with the 53 ford lately actually the frame has weeds grown up around it so bad i cant actually see it now and the cab is taken over by bugs and critters.... i know not good but im actually getting back interested in it again.i went to tennessee and bought a 55 a while back its kinda ruff but it to could be fixed .. i bought it for the vin plate and the title ..... i never could get the 53 title lined out so i just decided to go this route and used trim parts and a few other things and make my 53 truck a 55. i didnt want to do this but i had no better choice at this point.i'll be on and off here now since im messing with it again.

I'm just guessing here, but I think that most of us wouldn't make an internet posting if we were going to put together a sketcy title for a vehicle. If you look at some of the title threads, some of them offer up a lot of information about how to get a title in the various states.

it was sketcy but now im going to make one truck out of two and thats all i can do about it because i got taken on the 53 truck from the get go and was lied two many times about the title. there;s nothing sketcy about building a truck from two and its perfectly legal.i had alot of people interested in what was going on last year with this . its not that im doing anything wrong i should have never bought it to began with but i did and now after several thousand bucks im kinda stuck with it and this is my only way of getting it on the road or ever selling it .. and im sure that many of these guys trucks on here have title and vin's on them that have been put over on them just like my truck and once sold a couple of times no one knows.

It's all good. As long as you use the frame with the number stamped on it that is the same as what's on your title. I was thinking that you originally had a 52, but I went back to the start of this thread & you apparently have a lot of good 53 parts & now a rough 55 which has a legitimate title and a lot of rough parts that need to be changed out. It should work.

I'd get the title transferred at the DMV before you start any work.

It seems awkward, but whenever you "insert a picture" to one of these threads, the forum is looking for the picture somewhere on the web (which is always available) rather than from somewhere on your hard drive (which isn't always available).

Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.

While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ghtsafter1.jpg

Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).

When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).

Your pic will be placed in the post.

Hope that helps.

Here's a tutorial Bob put together: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/67...-pictures.html

Start a new thread about your new project with the truck. These long, drawn-out threads don't attract a lot of attention. Plus most of us were out of any further suggestions that might have helped your situation.

I drove by your place the other day. That Chevy looked pretty good. I didn't get a good look at the Fords. Stick around this time and yack with us.
