Im looking at new tires and rims, im not sure what offset i would need to clear without rubbing. But at the same time i want to keep the stock offset where the tires dont stick out much. Im looking at 20s with 35s for my 05
Still nothing? so far all ive seen is that a 15 to 30 offset is about oem..... Im looking at rims now that are 0 offset, does anyone know how this will effect how much they stick out?
not to hijack your thread but thats a great question. I am curious too- can someone with a 05 and up post a picture of what a 9 inch rim with 0 offset with 5 inches of backspacing looks like?
I have a 2008 and want to run 0 offset and 315/70/17 but am curious to how much it will stick out past the fender.
I cant find any good rims in the +15 to 20 offset range!

Same here the rims i want only come with a 0 offset
I looked at mine this morning but couldnt find the stamp on them showing the offset.
I'll look tomorrow when I get off work. I have 35/12.5/18 BFG M/T on mine. Zero rub. I know your after 20's, but the offset should work as they'd have same overall diameter. Mine stick out about 2" past the fender
Best pic I have at moment showing how rims stick out. I'll grab a new side shot as well when I get that offset for you
17X9 Eagle Alloy Series 102s, 4 5/8" bs, -8mm offset. So about a half inch further out than a 5", 0mm. True 35s wont matter what wheel size they're on obviously, these were 35X12.50s.

that must be nice with them only sticking out that tiny little extra bit. I was parked in the grass yesterday during a nasty rainstorm. When I left my truck got absolutely covered in mud...and I wasn't even trying. I found chunks of mud on the roof and a few pieces got my windshield.
I have got to get some flares to keep that from happening again
Stock offset for '05+ trucks is +40 or +44 mm. To clear 35s and not stick out too far you'll want something in the +20mm range, less than that and they'll stick out too far, IMO.
