a few more parts off the half tons, and a motor back on the ground
the trucks arent the easiest to move around, and I dont want to make a mess in front of the garage, but the crane wont roll on dirt.......
Good job! And yes that tractor is nice. I've actually got 2 questions about it if you don't mind me asking. What brand is that boom attachment, and what in the world is that piece of square tubular steel on the top of the bucket used for?
Id love to have the Flattie, its going to be pretty when your done with it, but its your tractor that brings back memories from the sixties when i used an older version of it to load sand and gravel at a building supply place. People would drive up with there station wagons and I had to fit the bucket inside the back window and drop a load then watch as they drove off draggin the mufflers,LOL good times. Good luck on your motor.
She is a 1969 Ford industrial, with a Ford 745 loader. It can also handle the backhoe attachment, but all I have is a weight box there right now.
The extra piece on the top of the bucket was put there by the PO, for forks. I have left it for now because there is a hook on it I have put to use. They used to use it for hay and manure (drain holes in the side)
Also have a fork attachment that replaces the bucket, that I will be putting to use for cab and box removal.
