Factory programmable E4OD ?

Does such a control exist ? I am looking at another F250 7.3 AT SC 4X4 with such an animal. Dealer says his tranny shop explained to him they are rare but are sometimes found and that the driver can program shift points. Is he full of it or ?

Not from the factory.
There are aftermarket controllers for this.

Of course this is new to me. Could someone please explain how one would utilize it ?

The truck never had a 5th wheel or goose neck installed.
