starter problem

Angry starter problem

i have a 1979 ford bronco with a 351M and C6 4x4 i recenly replaced the starter ,relay,and ignition switch but the problem is when in te run position the starter keeps cranking the engine

Have you checked the starter solenoid? it might be sticking. The starter switch might be another possible cause.

Did this start after the replacements or is that why every thing was changed? If you did all of this to correct the problem sounds like a short in the wiring harness puling the selenoid.

Nevermind giving him more answers, he posted ONCE (this question) and haven't come back.

sorry for not getting back here sooner things came up to answer thows question to my post i fixed it. it turned out to be the neutral safty switch so thank all that replied
