Drive the truck to within 20-30ins of a wall. Switch headlights on to full beam. Mark on the wall with a + the center of each light beam. Now reverse truck back about 20ft. With lights still on full beam, adjust each light to bring beam on to + mark on wall. Job done.
I doubt you could do it in daylight, maybe in shade.

By full beam, do you mean high beam?

I would guess that's what he means.

What I always do is go out to a dark road and aim the high beams to what looks the best. Then I check that the low beams aren't too high. I have never had that great of luck using a wall. Its definitely a good starting point though.

Forgot to mention this. I will drive around a little bit to make sure the are close to even. I find low spots or dips helpful for this.

Good pic! I do the same, use my garage door to initially gauge how high to set them, and the do some driving around to verify. It's a bit harder with a truck due to the truck's light being higher up in the air (on cars one trick I use is that the low beam cutoff is normally below the rear window of the car in front of me).

Some British headlight trivia: High beams are called the "main beams," and low beams called the "dipped beams" (or at least that was true at one time).

Mine are below the rear window of most cars
The only cars I get to annoy with my lights are super low like vettes and such
But my truck sits pretty low
