Since you have a 4x4, you pretty much have to use the same ratio unless you want to replace the undamaged ring & pinion in the other diff.

If you have the $$ to replace both, I'd say go with 3.73 gears to give you a little more "ummph" and you won't lose that mouch on the highway.

With that AOD I would go for the 4.10's unless you are seriously concerned with your fuel mileage.

I agree with Brian 100%. You might actually get better mileage with the 4.10 gears as that little 302 has had some serious soup up work done. It might not operate efficiently at lower RPMs. 4.10 gears might put it in the sweet spot.

Definatly the 4.10's. That should be enough gear for pulling and playing. With your tire size it would be enough to where you could still get good mpg

3.55 or 4.10s??????

also, if your planning on lifting your rig and running 35's soon you might concider 456 gears, i know thats a little step now with you running 32's but if your setup does change you dont want to go back through them again. and with that aod it wouldnt be to undrivable.

just a thought. im just one for doing **** once. becaue a gear swap is not cheap

good luck
later
